  •  RedState has such a sad about this (7+ / 0-)

It must suck to be a right-winger and realize that every day, it's getting a little harder to hate the people that their small-minded version of God says that they're supposed to hate.

Of course, they really should be out celebrating in the streets because they keep telling us that this kind of stuff brings them that much closer to the Rapture.  Aren't they looking forward to getting to heaven and snapping up the hostess gifts and other goodies before the rest of us??

    •  I wonder if the right has figured out (5+ / 0-)

that prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation also prohibits businesses from discriminating against straight people.

Because, you know, sexual orientation and stuff.

the gay men who work for certain GOP congresspersons and organizations will continue to do so. At some point, they have to have had it, right?

Ed FitzGerald for governor Of Ohio. Women's lives depend on it.

And it's a job in a still recovering economy.

People have put up with much worse - I'm sure almost every woman who has worked and is working for a Congressman has stories that would make anyone question why they put up with it.

      •  They only need an anecdote (0+ / 0-)

They will seize on any single, random bad thing that happens to any single person any time in the future, and use it as proof that God is doing the smiting in revenge for their hate-of-the-day. Works for them every time.
