it is never too late to ask Obama to remember his promises.
Letting him slide for 2 more years is unacceptable to me.

Passing a law that the Constitution doesn't allow does not negate the Constitution, it negates the law that was passed. Secret courts can't make up secret laws. SORRY FOR THE TYPOS :)

      kinds of issues right now.

I'm mad as hell that we don't have a public option, and there's a good chance I won't be able to afford Obamacare. Since I'm in DC, I'll probably qualify for Medicaid.

But since I can't afford a cellphone with out the help of family, I'm not likely to be helped by a plan that costs the same as something else I can't afford.

So I get the anger. I feel the anger.

But this fight is over. Obama is never going to be the person who he said he was during the campaign. Six years of compromise followed by one major event of digging his heels in does not a progressive make.

And there's not going to be any budging him unless we flesh out the progressives and left-wing populists in congress.

That's the only way we get movement.

So yeah, let's ask Barack Obama to budge on these issues by sending him a progressive house.

    •  If Obama hasn't fulfilled his promises in 6 years, (0+ / 0-)

what makes you think he will do it during the next two years?  What would his motivation be?  He has been an enabler for big money and a hawk to date.  Why would he change?
