  •  Especially when people lie to advance an agenda. (0+ / 0-)

Like how your sig line is a lie to advance an agenda.

To buy a gun one must be able to meet all the benchmarks for registering to vote AND THEN EVEN MORE.

The 'even more' involves having a cleaner background than is required to vote. Don't need to pay money in order to register to vote because that would be a poll tax, but you need to pay money in order to buy a gun. People need a current ID in order to buy a gun and have needed that ID for years and years, it's only a recent addition to the voting process in the voter ID states.

Kathy, your statement is a falsification. It is a lie.

Lying in order to advance an agenda is wrong. Lying is wrong.

Kathy, in my best "talking to my four year old nephew, back when he was four" voice:
Lying is wrong. It is a bad thing to do. No more, okay? Now go watch some tv and don't lie to the adults again.

not been reading the latest articles about difficulties voting due to the ID issues? It's real. As is Kathy's sigline.
Now, in my best talking to a 3 year old voice:
Please, pick up your guns....errr, toys, and go home.

      Too late. So quit.

This better be good. Because it is not going away.

Tell me how someone who is in dire need avoids getting killed when knocking on someone's door for help. Any suggestions?

      •  Start by understanding the words you use. (0+ / 0-)

Stand your ground is ONLY ever even remotely applicable when AWAY FROM HOME.

Where was the idiot who failed to follow the four firearm safety rules? Oh yeah, he was IN HIS HOME.

        It's pretty simple.
Consider the gun loaded until YOU check it, each time you leave it unattended you RECHECK.

Do not point it at anything that you do not wish to destroy.

Watch your target and be aware of what is behind it.

And the one that idiot failed to follow:

THAT is where the interaction between homeowner and renisha went fuckheaded. Right there, that fourth rule.

As to the question you asked - that's a poorly considered stance. Know why? Because it's not my job to run around protecting you from getting killed by non-intentional events. Person gets killed by a car when the driver accidentally jumps the curb while changing the radio, it is a stupid looking question to ask Tell me how someone avoids getting killed when standing on the sidewalk? Any suggestions?

It's a stupid question when a person mishandles a car and creates a body bag, it's a stupid question when a person mishandles a gun and creates a body bag.

And THAT small bit of effort to apply that SMALL amount of critical thought is why I am just sick and tired of the idiocy that runs RAMPANT on this site about guns. People don't bother to get the most fundamental things straight - it's JUST LIKE REDSTATE when the mouth breathers don't bother to understand the most fundamental things about obamacare to realize that their state run exchanges are obamacare.

YOU have placed yourself in some piss-poor company when the mechanism of your logic is also the chosen propaganda-reinforcing methods used by the rabid redstate frothy mouths.
