    it's been a day and a half.

I have two, one is fushsia and the other is white. They are both prolific bloomers. The fuchsia one was my grandmother's, I inherited it in the mid 70s so I have no idea how old it really is.

And daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County Down by the Green River where Paradise lay. Well, I'm sorry my son, but you're too late in asking Mister Peabody's coal train has hauled it away. John Prine

about Christmas cacti I finally decided to give one a try so I got a white one. I finally replanted it mid-summer and it seems to be doing fine. It has put out a few new branches(?) but there are no signs of any buds.

that they like to have time in morning sun then bloom when the sun moves and they stop getting direct sun. I have an east facing window that gets the full morning sun from spring to Sept. then as the sun moves south they get light but not direct sun. They start putting out blooms within a month of that change.

If yours is branching then it's happy but it may not bloom this year. They hate it when you rattle their cage, they don't like to be moved or messed with. I bet if you follow the sun rules that I spoke of you will have beautiful blooms next year. BTW, they bloom for months.

This is my white one right after I bought it. That picture is my mom's high school picture.

It summers outside and comes in for the winter already in bud.

In my experience, the white one has been fussier about blooming than the pink/orange ones.
