    The press release makes no mention of the language in the bill about drones. An official familiar with the matter said that this was because some Republicans argued that, since drone attacks are officially covert actions by the U.S. government, it would be inappropriate to set rules for such operations in a public law.
    No. If it's covert, then there is no "official" about it, it's unacknowledged or else it's exposed and therefore public. Which it is now.

    And "public law," versus secret law? There is no such thing as a secret law. It is bogus, null and void, a falsification of reality. And if drone strikes can't be done without "secret law," then they can't be done. Period.

    Government and laws are the agreement we all make to secure everyone's freedom.
