    He is a registered independent and voted Obama in '08, but was disappointed by him (I don't know specifics) and told me wouldn't vote for him in 2012.  Then the GOP primary freak-show ensued and in winter of 2012 he told me that the motley crew scared him so badly that he was voting Obama again.  

    He was astute enough to realize that Romney's budget didn't make sense and my brother does believe that much of the GWB deficits were from tax breaks to the rich.  While he wasn't buying the Romney/Ryan bs, he trusted McCrory, saw him as a "business" republican.  He feels blindsided by what McCrory and the republicans have done to the state.  He says he won't be voting for anyone with an R by their name for quite some time.

      brother was as reasonable, he isnt foaming at the mouth i just cant talk any sense into him, always votes against his own financial interests, i think his evil wife cast a spell on him thirty years ago.
