an SS coverup to look after their own?

A doco which aired the other day made compelling arguments for an accidental shot from George Hickey in the trailing SS car.

((It seems that Hickey wasn't so much a rookie, but inexperienced with the new weapon - AR15 (as well as being overtired from partying late)).

    •  The arguments were compelling, I agree. (1+ / 0-)

And, frankly, I'd like to believe it.  The House concluded there was a second gunman in the 70s, and this theory explains it without our having to confront the horrors most of the assassination theories put forward.  Just a lone nut, acting alone, plus a terrible accident.  I can believe sheer national (and organizational) pride would keep people from admitting the truth, if this had happened.

I just can't get past the fact that no one saw it (even though lots of witnesses reported seeing him holding the gun).  There were SO many people there.
