    a bill that leaves consumers in control.  Democrats need an alternative to a bill that lets Republicans pretend to "fix the problem" by putting the insurance companies in control.  The "outrage" is about consumers not being able to keep their plans, not about insurance companies being able to continue to scam their customers.

      their insurance companies.  It was a huge mistake for Obama to ever even imply this with his misguided "if you like it you can keep it" meme. He must have forgotten that most people aren't intelligent enough to see that the statement was a fallacy from the start.  

      At least the ACA puts some modicum of control in the consumers' hands.  Again, most people aren't intelligent enough to see that fact.
