  •  ...weird computer problems... (12+ / 0-)

...wasn't able to do anything but read here (couldn't interact). Then I couldn't get flicker to work (just hung-up and wouldn't take an upload).

So I downloaded a free version of AVG to have a look. I had some "general behavioral" virus that was apparently watching my "general behavior." Got rid of it and here I am...

    •  I don't buy that there's anything wrong with (9+ / 0-)

brains that lean strongly to the left or the right. We need folks to bring different talents to the table. As far as I'm concerned, there are no "better" gifts. They're all gifts, and we should be thankful for them.

    •  that's the exact one I got (10+ / 0-)

we must be twins separated at birth, pnut. Or maybe it's because my Libra instinct took over. I do think that the test was somewhat predictable. I knew that nailing all the color matches would squarely put me in the left brain column, so when it came time to picking shapes I like I went for the crazy ones to boost my creative cred. While I'm not sure if this test is really the final word on whether you're creative or rational, I'm more inclined to say that we ultimately all have bits and pieces of both. Personally at least I feel very comfortable with being the type of person that's hardc to throw in one category or the other. Whole systems is my name, baby!

As an ENFP, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you take things in primarily via your intuition. Your secondary mode is internal, where you deal with things according to how you feel about them, or how they fit in with your personal value system.
ENFPs are warm, enthusiastic people, typically very bright and full of potential. They live in the world of possibilities, and can become very passionate and excited about things. Their enthusiasm lends them the ability to inspire and motivate others, more so than we see in other types. They can talk their way in or out of anything. They love life, seeing it as a special gift, and strive to make the most out of it.

E – Extraversion preferred to introversion: ENFPs often feel motivated by their interaction with people. They tend to enjoy a wide circle of acquaintances, and they gain energy in social situations (whereas introverts expend energy).[7]
N – Intuition preferred to sensing: ENFPs tend to be more abstract than concrete. They focus their attention on the big picture rather than the details, and on future possibilities rather than immediate realities.[8]
F – Feeling preferred to thinking: ENFPs tend to value personal considerations above objective criteria. When making decisions, they often give more weight to social implications than to logic.[9]
P – Perception preferred to judgment: ENFPs tend to withhold judgment and delay important decisions, preferring to "keep their options open" should circumstances change.[10]
