But you've managed to undermine that point (whatever it is; I'm not sure) to the extent that perhaps you should take this down and start over. Begin with checking your spelling and usage. Proper spelling and usage are a surefire way to give yourself at least some shred of credibility; as it is you've made yourself a laughingstock. You don't really want that, do you?

As for this site being a business, I'd suggest that that's true by definition. OF COURSE it's a business. So what?

Misspelling and miss usages are so common on the web that I thought nobody gave a shit anymore. So I corrected the spelling of pole to poll in this diary. Now, I am going to see what kinds of ideas you post in your diaries. If you think I am an idiot or that I am simply wrong, say so, and then tell me why. That is unless you are so intellectually advanced that you don't have time for such things, in which case, why are you reading this diary?

      •  No, I am glad I didn't post it here. (0+ / 0-)

Okay sfbob, I went and read some of your stuff. Your delivery is average, but that is okay. I want to apologize in advance for my street humor in a comment below, as I realize that some folks can be extremely offended by these kinds of remarks. I don't try to cover my mistakes. Instead, I admit when I am wrong and I try to demonstrate how I have changed.  I am a work in progress.

As far as the substance of your post about how you became a Democrat, I relate and agree. In spite of my delivery, I am a liberal Democrat, an FDR, LBJ, Hubert Humphrey, Gay Rights, Labor Rights, Environment first  Democrat.

Compassion is not weakness, and concern for the unfortunate is not socialism.
