    What we need is a system that puts an end to the boom and bust cycle.  A system that recognizes we don’t grow this country from the financial sector; we grow this country from the middle class.

      As an economic historian, she knows very well about the boom and bust cycle that we were able to keep at bay from the 1930s onward through regulation.  

      Whatever political role she advances toward, Warren can evoke the regional historical memories of these hard times from the boom and bust cycle.  

      Warren may be uniquely positioned to resurrect Tom Joad.  If she can do that, it will be, as my granny used to say, "all over but the shoutin'".  

      It gets on my nerves, and you know how I am about my nerves...
