Although I am taking another Megabus trip to Chicago soon, this time I will be bringing a REAL book for the seven-hour trip. Last time I brought along Levi Johnston's "book" (hey, it was just sitting on a cabinet in our office. It had been sent to us for review months before and no one wanted to touch it) and had finished it before reaching Toledo (from Cleveland).

And I only made it to Ornament #13:

The logical result of atheism, a result we have seen right in front of our eyes in one of the world’s oldest and proudest nations, is severe moral decay.
Now I know there's this Murrican Ceptionalism hting happening, but since when does 238 years qualify the US of A as "one of the world's oldest" nations?  Clearly Screeches has never heard of... oh... most of the nations in  Europe.  Or Asia.

      I knew I should've stopped there... but...

why would people collectively be stricken with the spirit of generosity in December?
The "spirit" I see most often in December is the spirit of ka-ching.  Anybody with the courage to enter a retail establishment between Halloween and Valentine's Day knows... "generosity" is definitely NOT the spirit of the season.

I'll believe corporations are people when one comes home from Afghanistan in a body bag.
