    “If the utilities are able to upend rooftop solar in Arizona, the sunniest state, then imagine what they can do everywhere else.”
    You can't put any spin on that statement other than this: "If we can kill the competition here, we can kill it anywhere." There's not a glimmer of justification or political ideology in that statement, just pure monopolist greed. How can you have a respectful political discourse with people who unabashedly want to hold you prisoner to their monopoly, unable to purchase any alternative to what they're selling on the "free" market? I really do believe that the US needs a viable conservative party. I don't believe that one-party states run well. But I despair of the Republican party.
