compliant, and map their members onto it. And it matters hugely how they word their discontinuation letters. After all, come January 1st, no one is forced to stay on their OLD policy. But some companies deliberately worded their discontinuation letters to put all the blame on the ACA.

And God said, "Let there be light"; and with a Big Bang, there was light. And God said "Ow! Ow My eyes!" and in a flash God separated light from darkness. "Whew! Now that's better. Now where was I. Oh yea . . ."

been happening in some cases is that they were canceling grandfathered policies.

Now the President has put them on notice.

with penalties for those caught doing so.

If cutting Social Security & Medicare benefits for low income seniors is what Democrats do after they win a budget standoff, I'd hate to see what they do after they lose one.

          lawsuits pending right now.

There was a diary here about it.

Folks wanting their grandfathered policies back.

I'm thinking this "administrative fix" is less of about administration and more about putting the insurance companies on notice that they can't hide behind the law while screwing people over.

Okay, well they can't screw us over to quite the same extent.

They will carry on screwing us over and inventing new ways to screw us over.

But on this they are on notice.

          er . . .

about how greed and negligence can come back to bite you in the ass.   I doubt most of them care at all whether Americans have access to affordable health care, but they now have to face public humiliation for their stupid choices.

being one of the worst IMHO.

When I saw her name on this latest "fix" (aka hysterical and unnecessary overreaction) I just couldn't bring myself to support it.  It just added to the general unwarranted hysteria and made her look like she actually gave a shit.

This is the woman who rode in a plane over NOLA and praised the president who was at that moment letting the city drown.

And all those cowardly democrats in the House whining about re-election, threatening to pass some GOP piece of shit if Obama doesn't stop the sky from falling.

Self-service aholes, every one of them.

              •  IIRC, it took FOREVER (1+ / 0-)

to get her to agree to vote for ACA.  She was one of the last holdouts.
