And he bucked his rightwing by moving to accept Medicaid expansion so he's definitely looking centerward.

Murdoch/Ailes propagandist, Wall Street (Merrill Lynch employee), D.C. (Budget Committee Chair who, unlike Paul Ryan, produced actual laws), Koch-friendly union buster (even went after cops, a bridge too far for Scotty Walker) with just enough reasonableness on an issue or two to earn the media moderate badge with no photos embracing the President. He has the ambition; tried before but couldn't get the money (lots easier now). It's baffling to me that he isn't being more fully recognized as both a serious threat by us here and the best shot they've got on the other side. Could be orchestrated timing, let Christie take the hits and play a role like Giuliani over the next two years then step out much later.

When I see him on C-Span I expect he's just a notch or two away from losing his self control and going off on a rant or swinging his fists at someone.  I feel anxious just looking at him.

I felt this way well before I saw him go on and on about that policeman.

He's got this animation in his face as he listens to a questioner that, seems to me, reveals what appears to be impatience for a person who would dare to challenge his world-view.

I rarely make any judgment on a politician based on "non-verbal clues", but for this one guy I can't escape it.

        Anyone else get that feeling?

        •  I hadn't picked up on that. (0+ / 0-)

It could make for an exploitable debating weakness. Get him to crack. All the more alarming to imagine the additional harm he would cause in the job aside from the conventional and expected Rethug evil doings.
