    which combined all of that with the possibility of the load in back shifting. My father put a Corvair engine in it, which meant it had 80hp instead of 40, and it could actually go fast enough to not be traffic all the time. (I also remember the trip where it overheated and had to be pushed through the intersection.)

    I heard a story once about a herpetologist working in Central America who, when approaching a checkpoint, would put his largest, most obviously poisonous live specimens where they'd be the first things seen in an inspection. He had a lot less trouble than most people.

    (Is it time for the pitchforks and torches yet?)
