This was the President's preferred plan; he fought single-payer, fought the public option, and got pretty much what he wanted.

And it looks like he's really screwed it up.

Unfortunately, it's all we've got to work with.  I think nyceve's idea of bringing up single payer is just not an option.  But somebody better come up with some fixes, and put them on the table, because this could easily be make or break for the next election.

We are the first to look up and know, with absolute certainty, that the sword we ourselves have forged, is real.

Even in your title, framing the "ACA Disaster" - it's only a fucking disaster to a lizard person. There are glitches, sure, but it is a godsend.

      I ♥ President Barack Obama.

Just trying to make sure we're not accidentally helping the enemy. Cheers. And sorry. :/

These are not simply glitches.  The website was not ready to go live 6 weeks ago, and it's probably not going to be ready even in another 4 weeks, which is when people have to get signed up in order to have coverage starting on January 1st.  For the millions who are trying to get that coverage, have been waiting and counting on getting that coverage, yes, this is a fucking disaster -- and if you can't see that, then you are the lizard person.

GOP meme my ass.  There are serious problems with the rollout, that need to be addressed.  Calling each other names and sticking our heads in the sand will not solve the problem.

          Apology accepted.
