    nonsense.  It's not Carlsen's memory or speed that make him probably the all-time best.  I think it's what chessplayers call "sight of the board."  He just gets it all, very deeply and instantly.

    Will to win is a given in any great champion, but that's not what matters most here, in my opinion.

    Top grandmasters don't calculate further ahead than amateur players.  They just see things instantly, and nobody has ever been better than that then Carlsen.

    In recent years, Fischer was the all-time greatest, then Kasparov.  Carlsen would beat both of them.
