Firstly, JFK's murder was not a random act of a lone nut. It was carried out with the complicity of the highest levels of  goverment (the cover-up anyway) and the MIC power structure you aptly attribute to Money, Drugs, and Weapons. They have been installing presidents ever since. Perhaps you implied that, but I missed it.
Secondly, I would like to remind you one of Reagan's most important actions: getting rid of the Fairness Doctrine in broadcasting, which made possible, Fox Network and hate-talk radio, pure propoganda. And somewhere along the line, probably under Reagan as well, the limits to media consolidation by huge corporations was lifted, turning our media into Company press-release readers.
So, minor additions to your great overview. Thank you.

I said that we had to take the longer view. (And I gave  bullet points to the Fairness Doctrine  and to corporate media consolidation- very few things got more than a bullet point in this.)

I did imply as much as I could. You want details of the assassination plots, read "Legacy of Secrecy" by Lamar Waldron and Thom Hartmann (yes, that Thom Hartmann).

      Thanks for your agreement.

drones are a cost effective way of generating enough new terrorists that calls to cut military spending will fail.

        •  Read it. Even more new stuff! Thanks. (0+ / 0-)

And you won't hear one word of it this week in Corporate McPravda.

Its like the media live in a fact-free zone. They just disappear anything that's inconvenient while promoting the blatant lies of the GOP.

When, if ever, will the American public wake up?
