  •  Tonight it is store bought roasted locally grown (13+ / 0-)

    chicken, carrots & parsnips and a green salad with balsamic honey dressing. Thursday night I popped a blood vessel in my right eye and spent all afternoon yesterday at the doctors. $!25 later I have scripts for steroids to take care of it and clogged oil glands in my eyelids (who knew?). For the first time in awhile my eyes are comfortable. AND this morning I woke up with a sore throat. Woe is me :-(
    On a higher note, T-Day will be an ode to Mexico. We're having a local, pasture raised chicken from our friends - it's 5.5 lbs. I will roast it unstuffed. Dressing is from Oaxaca (chiles, fennel, prunes and cumin), nopales with hot bacon dressing, grilled corn salad with mexican cheese, pork tamales. For dessert it's arroz con leche.
    There may be a second T-Day with ham and all the fixins too.
