    tried various things,
    but I've found
    that on a day off,
    I simply drink some strong coffee,
    and that usually changes my mood,
    from:

    I truly need to lay down again,
    to heck with my plans for the day,
    to:
    let's get crackin
    on those chores I planned for today.
    When I'm on break at work,
    it has no such effect,
    at least not right away.

    So,
    even if you've tried coffee,
    and it didn't work those times,
    if  you keep trying,
    it might work some times.

    As I said,
    you have probably
    analyzed coffee carefully,
    and my advice is no help.

    But I figured,
    maybe it wouldn't hurt
    to tell you what works for me.

    Just in case.
