Have fun!  I had this queued up for my usual Friday thematic approach:

Great show. Went to an after hours dive afterwards. Phantom and Rocker (but no Setzer) showed up and ended up playing pool with me and my friend who is now an editor at the Washington Times.

      •  I've never seen them in concert (4+ / 0-)

but one time they showed up in a hotel bar to hang out where some young engineer friends and I were staying in western Virginia.  I can't remember where we were it was so long ago.  I guess they were touring.  It was pretty funny to watch as they slid into a big booth with an entourage and a lot of women.

This would have been somewhere  around '83 or '84.  Come to think of it, I think it was near James Madison University in the Shenandoah Valley. I should remember because the company I worked for had a plant out there and that's why I was there.

They played JMU about that time.  I was there. A great a cappella group, who's name I can't remember, opened for them. SCats were very popular on campus, I remember listening to the album as an import.  Suddenly, bands had to know who the Johnny Burnette Trio were.

Caused a huge traffic jam.  People were stuck for hours.  It was a county park just outside Pittsburgh.  It had to be the mid-90s because the kids were little.  I got there early.   I am down for free music in the park, anytime.  The House Was A Rockin'
