    but in Iowa a lot of people are reluctant to do things that are tied to poverty. There is still a strong sense of pride about supporting yourself. I wonder how many of the eligible would not sign up because it seems to be tied to poverty.

    Interesting idea, though. I strongly believe the coming up with multiple possible solutions is the most likely way to come up with some of the best solutions.

    Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? . . . and respect the dignity of every human being.

      I am trying to convince myself that the numbers don't lie, I'm poor. Obamacare is out of my reach, I'll be on MedicAid once I sign up, but swallowing my (rather tenuous) self esteem is not easy, particularly when I live in one of the richest parts of one of the richest states in the country, but being long term unemployed (I kid myself that I'm self employed) and too old for the few job openings, but not old enough for Medicare quite yet, I'm sorta stuck, eh?

      If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!
