undersash of some kind (not the cheap stuff typical sweaty working stiffs used). And this made me recall the gospel story of a group of manly hulky soldiers who were on crossbearer detail. Following the crucifixion of Jesus,  these hard headed dudes gathered and seemed a bit over-eager to gamble for his prized purple fruit of the looms undersash.

Not quite sure how this may fit in with the church's liturgical seasonal color schemes...although I suspect Minnesota's Lutheran Viking's fans will claim Jesus as one of their own.

But tough guy indeed--could General Boykoytoy and his followers be dared to take up the most manly man in the world's wearing of the Crown of Thorns while dragging the logs for a cross? I suspect they'd rather veer strongly away from accepting any humiliating sacrifice. Their idea of Jesus would have used that wood as huge bats to smite his opponents-the spawn of Satan-daring to besmirch and disrespect him.
