      As a former libertarian I can attest that the NSA would have given me fits.

      Nowadays I consider libertarians, specially the Ayn Rand types (most of them?) stopped clocks that are right twice a day.  Specially on geopolitics and surveillance.  For a while I called myself a "liberaltarian".  Then again many libertarians, including some I know personally, have become Teabaggers.

      martianexpatriate is nevertheless right in his (her? do martians have two sexes? I'm sure the NSA knows) advice to the NSA.  The NSA is having other problems also, like finding enough water to cool off their new Utah data dump;
