    or even of the Democratic party, you need to spend some time outside this echo chamber.

    I'd love to see Warren's economic populism mainstreamed in the Democratic party. And I would personally benefit from it, as I am a senior living entirely on Social Security income.

    But at this point, Warren is a single-issue politician. She's fantastic on that single issue, I agree, but that doesn't make her a viable presidential candidate -- particularly not when it comes to raising campaign funds, since the money men hate her. Of course the money men also hate Obama: Obama says mean things about them, such as that their bonuses are too big.

    What we need is for our most viable presidential candidate to adopt Warren's positions on this issue because everyone expects it of a Democrat. For that to happen, Warren's campaign for economic justice must grow.

      but it might mean a solid campaign for president by Warren would help move the Overton window.

      She can put the issues into the debates with a mind toward getting the other candidate(s) to adopt them, not necessarily toward winning. And, say, if some big Clinton Foundation scandal develops, we'd have a solid backup plan.
