  •  True enough ... in WAR enemies get shot (0+ / 0-)

In politics they're called "our friends across the aisle"

Unfortunately the Establishment Democrats leave the actual OPPOSITION, ridicule and despising to a marginal fringe of what they are pleased to call The Extreme Left ... talking to ourselves in blogs, student rathskellers, and,  of course Pacifica Radio.

"Shaming" ... that doesn't happen unless the subject is capable of feeling and willing to accept "shame."  But Our Gallant Foes is FEEL NO SHAME.

And as for trouncing them at the polls ... well I assume our elected representatives like to keep their jobs as much as anybody. But ... when they speak of "Our Friends Across the Aisle" ...  I don't think they're being ironic or disingenuous -- especially if we're talking about the Senate.  Compared to US, who contribute nothing to Society except our labor, our taxes, our votes and the occasional petty campaign contribution -- Republicans ARE "friends and colleagues."  All members of the Fellow-MillionairesClub, together.

There is to be no "trouncing".  Red States will remain Red-- and the 50 State Strategy is as dead as the New Deal soon will be.

But there's no cause for alarm, anger, or even concern.

The Trans Pacific Partnership will pass ... Budgets will be balanced.  Deficits will be reduced.  Stocks and bonds will grow in value.  And the Commons WILL be privatized.

Because "we don't have any ...  ferkrissake ... "enemies."
