I live in Pennsylvania, and our congressional districts have been heavily gerrymandered by our Republican-controlled legislature. The funny thing about the gerrymandering is that while Democratic voters have been crammed into a few "blue" districts with Democratic majorities the can be as high as 70%, some of the "red" districts have paper-thin Republican majorities that are only a few points over 50%. That means with a little more turnout among Democratic voters in a few "pink" districts in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Pittsburgh, the Democrats could potentially take back a few seats in Pennsylvania in 2014.

"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dream shall never die." --Senator Ted Kennedy
