    They aren't going to be happy no matter what.
    I'd rather they blame their unhappiness on the asshole company they work for, rather than on asshole activists who are making their job harder in the name of "helping" them.

      Not an "activist". And if they don't already blame the asshole company then nothing will get them too, and if they already do then they already know how to blame. Either way, it will cause a work slowdown. It isn't a tactic meant to get the sympathy of anyone, it's meant to send a message to the company in the only language it understands, money. Too many people are so worried about PR that they ignore effective tactics, this is one of those cases.
