    The threat to our way of life comes from corporations, and the solution is to shrink corporations while freeing government from corporate control.

      non-SCOTUS judicial nominations.  However, the fact that this happened successfully at all makes the path to potentially nuking or modifying the filibuster in other contexts far smoother if/when needed.

        ,and they did it very quickly in terms a procedure. They can say the filibuster still applies to SCOTUS nominees and legislation, but effectively, it no longer does. 51 votes to change a 60 vote rule is effectively a 51 vote rule. It doesn't mattet any longer what the nominal debate rules are: 60 votes, 75 votes, you have to talk, you have to put a duck on your head... From here on out, the rules are whatever 51 senators decide the rules are at any point in the legislative calendar. Majority rule. Awesome. About time, too.
