We don't want that Senate seat falling into GOP hands, and it's doubtful we'd be able to land another candidate as progressive as he. The Vice Presidency would be a dead-end for him. Better that he stay in place and make progressive legislation alongside Warren, Merkley, Baldwin, Murphy, and Whitehouse (off the top of my head, those names comprise the most progressive end of the Senate Democratic caucus).

30, chick, Jewish, solid progressive, NY-14 currently, FL-22 native, went to school in IL-01. "'Let's talk about health care, Mackenzie!' 'Oh Amanda, I'd rather not; that's not polite!'"

we've got a hellacious Democratic bench in Ohio now, and no shortage of fantastic progressive candidates.

But I don't want to see him squandered on the vice presidency particularly if the top of the ticket is a weak, woefully, backward looking choice like Hillary. However, I don't think she'll run. She's given no indication she will and I doubt at her age she wants to spend two years on a bus and in hotel rooms. I believe her candidacy is a fabrication of pundits looking for a familiar name to talk about and old Clinton operatives looking to get back into power, which is truly chilling to me.

Ed FitzGerald for governor Of Ohio. Women's lives depend on it.
