Took a quick link of last few years. Stock price and dividend growth to boot.
Shareholders are doing quite well. Shockwave's W-in-China comment right above yours says a lot where growth will be.

I have been to W's in Mexico. One was part of a tour of Acapulco. Tour guide was not happy about the W as it apparently was built on pre-historic stuff. Close to the haciendas on the beach which was also part of gig.

HUGE scandal on how they managed to build on historic sites.  Pay bribes, get store.

Yes the buyback is reflected in the stock price.  But the buyback masks the lack of actual growth in the stock because some of that is just fewer slices of the same pie.

When I look to buy an individual stock I get super picky.  I want something that is as close to possible to a sure thing as I can get.  I like P/E of 10 or less and P/B of 3 or less.  Walmart was at the upper end of my last search with a 15 P/E and a 3.5 P/B.  That caused me to dig deeper and when I did I discovered the buyback program.  Im a buy and hold guy so I am looking at 2-5 years of growth in stock price and I dont think they will be able to continue the buyback that long.  JMHO
