    1. Bill Clinton was disbarred, meaning he cannot be a judge;
    2. He is an effective attack dog who would be defanged by sitting on a bench;
    3. He's too old now, you want to put 35-40 year olds on the Federal bench and 50 year olds on the SCOTUS so that they have a good 25-30 years of service.

    Antonin Scalia: 27 years Reagan (77 now, 50 when nominated)
    Anthony Kennedy: 25 years Reagan (77, 52wn)
    Clarence Thomas: 22 years Bush Sr. (65, 43wn)
    Ruth Bader Ginsburg: 20 years Clinton (80, 60wn)
    Stephen G. Breyer: 19 years Clinton (75, 56wn)
    John Roberts: 8 years Bush Jr. (58, 50wn)
    Samuel A. Alito: 7 years Bush Jr. (63, 56wn)
    Sonia Sotomayor: 4 years Obama (59, 55wn)
    Elena Kagan: 3 years Obama (53, 50wn)
    Average age of GOP nominees 50. Average age of Dem nominees 55. I for one cannot wait for a Democratic POTUS to have the opportunity to replace Scalia, Kennedy, or Thomas and do so with someone in their 40s. If we could have two term Dem follow Obama then we could end up with a 7-2 majority on the court. If a GOoPer follows Obama then they could end up with that 7-2 majority.
