should work harder and get more education to get a better job.  And they'll be a better example for their family.   My  question is, what other job????  How do they pay for education without student loans which then they can't pay back because $10 an hour jobs are all that's out there?

fucker is still going to have to stock the shelves.

They are incapable of thinking beyond "this one person in poverty".

Yeah, if they're lucky and gifted and have a support system, maybe then the individual under discussion can go to school or start a business and win a better life for themselves, but they can't understand that it would change nothing in the big picture.

When people say 'The answer is education', well, I have to assume they're talking about educating workers to become class conscious and understand how to utilize their own power.

Because that's the only kind of education that can answer this problem.
