  •  Exciting explorations for me, too; I haven't read (4+ / 0-)

any of them yet (well, I'm just starting Nightwood). But I'm always up for having my mind expanded.

I was speaking of you last night. I'm visiting my aunt in Hidalgo County, down where Gloria E. Anzaldúa came from. We were discussing women writers and feminism, and my friend brought up Anzaldúa, so I mentioned learning of her through your last book diary.

I'll have to read the book itself one day.

Anzaldúa, indeed. She's one of the greats. Love her! I was sorry to see that diary get so little play, but you know, literacy isn't always a big priority these days, let alone publishing.

Thus my eternal support for this series when I catch it! Especially when you get all literature-y on me :)

for literary digging and pondering. I wish Limelite and pico would write more diaries; but many people write occasional deep forays, and bookgirl's Contemporary Fiction Views teaches me a lot. All in all, we manage a subtle, entertaining, very informative conversation. And I'm always happy to see you here. When I don't see you, I know you're busy enlightening the young.
