    more than we're spending right now."  I think maybe it does.  Seems like we could make a case that for every dollar we DON'T spend right now, down the road it costs us $10, 2 seniors and a child.
    Spending a dollar on food stamps today returns $1.65 to the economy.  But it also feeds a hungry senior, or a child.  And that's the most important return on investment ever.
