    the references.  The reason I like Young's book is that it made me aware of the fact that what we eat can make our bodies hosts for diseases that thrive in the environment created by eating food with no life force, and inflammation is the body's response to toxic food.  Eating in a way that harmonizes with digestive processes solves a lot of issues.  I am not on board with the need for all those supplements he sells, they are not a substitute for real food either.
