    ...and anyone who thinks that legalizing marriage equality can cause tornado outbreaks is stupid.

      If one wanted to draw conclusions from the recent tornado outbreak in Illinois, one might just as plausibly drawn the conclusion that God hates conservative Christians.  To wit:

      St. Joseph's Catholic Church suffered devastating damage


      St. John's Lutheran Church in New Minden, IL and Our Savior Lutheran Church were both severely damaged, as were the homes of many Lutheran Church members.

      But any sensible person would not blame God for this tragedy, nor should any reasonable person praise God that so few people were injured.  They should praise NOAA's Storm Prediction Center and all the meteorologists involved in their predictions and those who designed the weather satellites and other instruments they use for correctly predicting, many days in advance, that dangerous weather was likely that day.  And they should praise the local National Weather Service Office, police, firemen and hospital workers, as well as volunteer weather spotters and radio and TV stations for getting the word out in time to allow people to take cover.
