  •  So I flick over to CNN's State of the Union (6+ / 0-)

And they have teahadist Mike Rogers babbling about this would result in more violence. Cut to break.

Then they have John Negroponte and Michael Hayden on.

Could CNN at least pretend to have a guest on who they can spin as a voice for the 'other' side, I dunno, like Joe Lieberman or Lanny Davis?

    •  *Slaps self on the head* Why did I watch CNN??? (2+ / 0-)

I stuck around for the panel discussion. My gawd, these people are insane.

Alex Castellanos is all doom and gloom, pulling talking points out his ass. AB Stoddard of The Hill, who is apparently a right-wing Villager, said tweets like Cornyn's is no biggie, and "Republicans will have a leg to stand on Iran, if enough Democrats join them."

Candy Crowley, awful as ever, promised ex-Obama communications guy the last word, then gave it to the infufferable Stoddard, promising Burton "he can have the first word" next time he's a guest.

I only have myself to blame.

They pollute the public discourse with sewage.

There is no existence without doubt.

Those are precious minutes of your life wasted, that you will never have again. I never watch the Sunday shows. Neither should you. I guarantee you'll be just as well-informed, and have lower blood pressure, to boot.

I find something more fun to do on Sunday mornings. Cleaning the bathroom, for instance.

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."........ "The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little." (yeah, same guy.)
