    ... OK, so it's mostly bad. But still, FWIW, I make a distinction between the corporatist-slanted hard news stories, where I know the network is bullshiatting me, and the occasional decent feature piece that may still be worthwhile.

    For instance, I can (and will) just skip any segments that the egregious Lara Logan does. That doesn't mean I have to miss Bob Simon's moving profile of the Landfillharmonic or his essay about the criminally unrecognized Latino artist Rodriguez.

    Sometimes it helps to recognize that there are correspondents who still do good journalism even if the program as a whole doesn't deserve to be taken seriously. Speaking just for myself, I'm not going to let the presence of Logan keep me from seeing another reporter's more professional work shine.
