    Our GP's, OB/GYN's, Family Practice doctors, Pediatricians all make just a little more on average than in the EU.  They work way longer hours, so in that sense they are actually paid less.

    Many specialists in the US make 50%+ what their EU equivalents do, and while they work longer hours they don't do more patient procedures in a given week.  All the extra time goes to paper work.
