  •  Hmmm. Not really analogous. (0+ / 0-)

And FDR criticism from the left, which would have cut Capitalism down a lot more, would have been beneficial to us. As all of humanity now knows.

Here's from FDR's first inauguration address, btw.

"Our greatest primary task is to put people to work."
    - Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1st Inaugural Address, March 4, 1933.
Eighty years later and you haven't heard any recent Democratic President say anything near that.

Although 'reforming' social security and reducing the deficit and nonsense about 'we're in a recovery' and 'jobs are moving in the right direction' does manage to appear quite often.

And, 'I welcome their hatred' speaking about Wall Street, isn't really at all like "[JPMorgan (serial criminals caught in 30ish different crimes)] is one of the best-managed banks there is” and "[their mastermind Dimon] “is one of the smartest bankers we’ve got.”

... I think most people could discern the different nuances there, unless they just don't want to notice.

Actual Democrats: the surest, quickest, route to More Democrats. And actually addressing our various emergencies.
