  •  A good issue for a Dem to run on (10+ / 0-)

    in a small, conservative state.

Alaskans will have plenty of time to get sick of Crossroads ads.  They need to know how those ads came to be.

First they came for the slippery-slope fallacists, and I said nothing. The End.

      ...over 'Obamacare.'

The faux concern about healthcare issues by repugs is disgusting. Parnell pissed-off a lot of people as well as one of the largest employers in the state (Providence Hospital) when he went against his own advisers and declined to expand Medicaid.

The anti-Washington sentiment is very strong here. Mark is not polling real well right now. That will change.

People in AK/MT are fiercely independent in certain ways* which Citizens United rubs the wrong way.

*Accepting federal money is not usually one of those ways, so the ACA thing is a little odd, probably mostly about the mandate.

    •  With public approval of Congress and Washington (4+ / 0-)

at an all-time low, receptivity to the idea that Citizens is corrupting our democracy is palpable.  Democrats have a strong political interest in calling out its poisonous effects and pinning this dirty money on Republican lapels.  (The less of it they take themselves, of course, the more salient their attacks will be.)

100 percent agree that now is the time for big noise on this before the silly season gets too far along.
