    I didn't think the subject would be very interesting but it turned out a lot more fun that I would have imagined.

    And God said, "Let there be light"; and with a Big Bang, there was light. And God said "Ow! Ow My eyes!" and in a flash God separated light from darkness. "Whew! Now that's better. Now where was I. Oh yea . . ."

      Chicago School monetarist. But one who was blessed with the gift of tolerance in the extreme. Imagine, if you will, me, at the time a fire-brand Marxist, continually butting heads with him. And yet he ended up being one of my favorite profs of my entire college life.

      (I wrote my final paper for the class on JFK's management of the so-called Steel Crisis, when JFK actually busted the heads of some of the steel companies' CEOs. Got an A on the paper, even though I know the prof totally disagreed with my argument. He was a great guy!)
