    I imagine the same folks who support these claims for religious exemptions would be irate if Teh Mooslims got to do the same thing. Not sure what that might be, maybe something like denying coverage for pork-based insulin? Whatever it was, they would go off the deep end about the unfairness of it, how it's un-amurkan, there should be a law!!!, etc, etc. And we'd hear bleating for a week on Fox and talk radio about how Christians are victims and under assault in this country.

      think it is even produced anymore.  Though perhaps they could just say that all insulin is "pork based" under the fruit of the poisoned tree argument.

        Then, even better, how about pig heart valves? Don't they use those sometimes? Imagine Dick Cheney getting refused a valve for his new heart based on some kind of Muslim religious objection. The rightwing head explosions would resemble Shock and Awe.
