    When she was covering the wars in IRQ and AFG, she was fearless. I sometimes wondered if she had a death wish. I found her reporting to be cutting edge, accurate and reliable, since at the time I did have some knowledge of the "ground truth."

    Then she was sexually assaulted, and nearly lost her life while covering the Egyptian protests. With two kids at home, you could tell she was severely damaged emotionally and would never return to a danger zone.

    On the Benghazi story I don't know if she (and the producer) got lazy or stupid. Or if her husband had some kind of undue influence.

    But the bottom line is some price must be paid for this incredibly damaging and sloppy reporting.
