Just a note that in Utah, medical people are working on making all of a patient's medical records available to all doctors in the state. As an example, a patient is seen in Blanding while on vacation for chest pains during a camping trip. Back home in Logan, he goes to his regular doctor who can call up the results of tests done on at the Blanding clinic. This has nothing to do with ACA, they were working on it years before. And it doesn't cross state lines. Get seen at a clinic in tiny-town, Nevada, get referred to the specialist in Salt Lake City and no records go with the patient. So expensive tests have to be repeated with additional delay.

We just went through this with my in laws since my father in law had an episode in our state and they had to wait and have medical records FAXED from his doctor's office in Florida. Absurd.

      •  That won't change because of the (0+ / 0-)

I'm asking you to believe. Not in my ability to bring about real change in Washington ... *I'm asking you to believe in yours.* Barack Obama
