    at the church in which I work.  (protestant church)

    Will be interesting to hear their thoughts now.

    My best friends joined the Catholic church, and all their friends stopped visiting.  Except for me.  I even went to their class gatherings with them.

    My question to protestants:  How long does the protest last?

      The word Protest and the word Profess share roots and in the 16th century meanings.  The idea behind Protestantism isn't simply to protest but to profess the basic early church way of being.  So a liberation Christian Protestant would agree with Francis that the church should be involved and always renewing.
