    that if the rules were left up to me, all churches would have to be located in the inner cities.

    It's one thing to pray for the poor.  It's another thing to send them money.  

    It's quite another thing to take a vow of poverty and live amongst them.  And I know people who have done just that.

    In Cleveland, on the near west-side, was a group of Catholics and protestants and pagans and atheists, who all took vows of poverty, lived amongst the poor and made them their neighbors and friends.

    Happens all over the place.

    Economic hardship isn't the only problem with being poor.  It's the shame you're made to feel in a greedy culture such as ours.  You're made to feel worthless, stupid and even evil, for not having money and stuff.

    In a "Christian" nation.
