  •  Of Course Blame AT&T (10+ / 0-)

You're not saying we can't blame AT&T. We're saying that we shouldn't complain when AT&T is to blame for exploiting its unjust privileges, because it can be expected.

The other location 60' away would have cost AT&T a lot less money in dealing with neighborhood opposition. Which is only going to get worse, and continue to cost AT&T, over time. It's not economics, it's arrogance.

    You Conservatives never blame corporations.

If it were easier to put the box 60 feet away AT&T would have done it already.

Your projection that this situation is "arrogance" by AT&T is not supported, as if the people who work at AT&T take sadistic pleasure in pointlessly pissing people off.

The person most familiar with this incident at AT&T and who called the police is probably a comparatively low-level project manager who just wants this project done on time and within budget. That person is not rich and doesn't want to have to deal with interference from people with no legal right to stop the construction. So (s)he just calls the police and gets on with their life.

      •  So You Don't Blame Zimmerman (0+ / 0-)

OK, so you don't blame George Zimmerman for killing Trayvon Martin. Because he only did what the government lets him do. Right?

          What?

Does the old robot saying "DOES NOT COMPUTE" mean anything to you?

Of course it doesn't compute for you. You're trying to excuse corporations for getting away with whatever the law allows, but can't face the fact that you'd have to judge Zimmerman by the same standard. The corporations are of course worse, because they write the laws and Zimmerman just exploited them. But still you don't blame the corporations.

      •  So, yeah, that's fine. :/ (0+ / 0-)

When a corporation makes a decision that affects your property values, and quality of life, as long as its legal, it doesn't matter if its right?  You sure seem to have a good understanding of and sympathy for the corporate drone who made these decisions, and none at all for what it's like to have to live with these decisions...DESPITE having had the homeowners experience explained to you in detail, and in English.  I cannot imagine what it is about this story that made you waste your time and ours on commenting about your imagined justification for the corporation.  Maybe you'll get some special AT+T brownie points for defending "the man".
